Hennessys, Tower Hill

Pretty dirty venue with moody staff. But mostly I didn't like the face that they ripped off my friend who hired the venue. He had agreed that if we spent a certain amount of money over the bar to get free BBQ. At the end of the night when we had spent twice the amount required they presented him with a very big bill for food and claimed to have never made the free food promise. When my friend tried to argue his case they threatend calling the police.

The Cuckfield, Wanstead

All up I think this is a great pub, the food is excellent, they have some good beers and the outside seating a probably the nicest in the area.

The down side is some of the staff aren't the best, although all are friendly. But hey, I'd much sooner slow and pleasant service than quick and moody. Who wants to go to a McPub?? And I'm in the pub so it's not like I'm a terrible rush..

Will definitely be going again and again!
