Half and Half, Croydon

Great little pub. Decent reasonably priced drinks, friendly and efficient staff, clean toilets and non-offensive music. Has a bit of character also which sets it apart from the raft of generic venues nearby. Worth the journey to South Croydon

The Dog and Bull, Croydon

Tried this place as had heard it was something of a hidden gem. Good location, well kept beer and a lovely garden. Shame about the miserable barmaid who was downright rude... couldn't fault the place otherwise so a real pity about the surly reception

The Builders Arms, Croydon

Prices have gone up, it's cold, the quality of the food and portion sizes have gone down (roast served on a stone cold plate anyone?)... oh and the water in the hot tap in the loos is also cold... seems that corners are really being cut since it changed hands.. very disappointing as I used to really like this place!
