A really frindly landlord and helpful, pleasant staff. Great food, really massive portions at bargain prices. Also has a nice non-smoking area. Would go there again.

The Hare and Billet, Blackheath

I called into this place on a busy Saturday night with a group of friends, and I just have to say that it realy wasn't the 'local's pub' that we feared it was going to be. There was a good choice of beers and the barman was very knowledgeable and helpful.Will definitely go back as it seems like a nice place to have a Sunday lunch on a cold winter's day.
