The Fentiman Arms, Kennington

Hi there guys. A memeber of my staff brought my attention to the experiences some of you have had at The Fentiman Arms. I am the new floor manager here, who along with a new bar manager and general manager are now working to put right alot of the issues raised in this message board.

All our staff are now involved in a continuous training programme, service, wine knowledge, customer service being particularly focused on.

The previous manager, I have noted the comments on this board in respect of him, has moved on, and our staff turnover has reduced allowing us to build an experienced friendly team.

I do hope that those of you who have had a bad experiece at The Fentiman will come and give us another go soon to see the efforts we are making to improve your experiences at the pub.

We are no longer running the Tuesday night Comedy event but instead are running a fortnightly acoustic night on Mondays. We will also be hosting a dinner and jass night with the Jazzberries in our upstairs function room and are looking to introduce other nights, perhaps a quiz to improve the pubs atmosphere.

I will check up on the comments made and will take everything on board to help improve what has great potential to become a really great pub experience.
