The Anglers, Teddington

All you guys work too hard for your money to waste it in this pub. This is the closest pub to my house and (as a regular pub go-er) I've not been in here for years. What can I say? Terrible service - the worst I have ever had in the UK. They must train their staff to be that poor. Manager (female braided hair) was agressively rude when I complained and (when I asked for the head office address) she told me to leave. I never got the impression that I fitted the market they were going for. Although I'm young, highly educated and got cash going spare I was always snubbed in here. Unique ability of bar staff to take ten minutes to serve you a drink (even when the staff outnumber the total customers)... Mitchells & Butlers should be aware of this pub. It's a prime example of a venue that is held back by the attitude of the management. Never have the food - menu is stupidly ambitious for a kitchen that can't even do the basics. Food is insultingly expensive. Staff have no idea. I went in once and some bright spark had locked the keys to the cellar in the cellar --hence they were out of most drinks. Beer garden is effectively an infant school playground. Ideal for a relaxing afternoon (or not). horrid horrid horrid. Totally outclassed by most pubs in the area.
