The Blenheim Hotel, Berwick Upon Tweed

I was staying a few yards from this pub with a mate whilst up north for the Open. I have to say despite an average exterior this was a fabulously welcoming pub despite warnings about Spittal being less than friendly to outsiders. The landlord and his wife made us feel very welcome as did all of the regulars. One downfall is that they don't do any food, after a long day at the golf a ham sarnie or toastie would have hit the spot. Great quality beer as well, very reasonably priced.
