The City Barge, Chiswick

My wife and I returned to The City Barge for the first time this year. This place is great!!!

The place was very busy nothing was too much trouble.

The manager has done a great job in improving the food and cleanliness. I think they have a new chef who obviously cares about what his or her food is like. Nice to see a good selection of real ales available. The Old Specled Hen is superb.

Its nice to come back and see the same faces behind the bar, very welcoming looking forward to my next visit.

10 out of 10 excellent all round and what a lovelly location.

The City Barge, Chiswick

I visited this pub today with my wife and we were made so welcome. The weather was awful so whilst walking along the Thames river side we came across this very warm inviting pub and decided to stay and have lunch.
The food was first class, nothing was too much trouble and we even overheard other pub goers commenting what a nice time they had here.
My wife and I will certainly be recommending this venue to our family and friends. The beer was excellent also I had a pint of IPA and my wife was recommended a large glass of wine.

Nice to see Christmas menus avaialble we may even book our Christmas lunch here we were so impressed.
