The White Hart, Wood Street

I don't usually comment on these websites but was looking for the postcode for this pub to send to a friend and was shocked by the negative reviews. I live relatively locally and although there are other decent pubs closer we always go to the White Hart.

The food can be expensive but you get what you pay for in my experience and the portions are of a very good size.

Most of the time we just go for a drink or two at the end of a working week and always find the staff very friendly and helpful. We also take family there for a drink when visiting us and from brothers and sisters to parents and grandparents they have all loved it and been made to feel very welcome. I have recommended this pub to everyone I know in Guildford and will continue to do so.
