The Old Manor Inn, Walton on Thames

new manager so paid a visit. Two cask ales, Youngs & Doombar, both absolutely top notch. No cooked food but fresh rolls, very reasonably priced. No kids, sports on tv, very friendly. Proper pub so come on CAMRA - give this place an award !

The Wuthering Heights, Stanbury

Excellent pub with friendly and hard working staff. Good food available every lunchtime and Thursday to Saturday evenings. Three distinct areas, being dining room, pool room and main bar which includes computer for public use (usually occupied by children playing games or teenagers browsing Facebook). Theakstons Best, Old Peculier, and a guest beer often of medium strength always available and all kept in fine condition. Very mixed collation of locals which makes for a lively and friendly ambience. Well worth visiting.
