Shame that Mark & Jo decided to sell. Nice people who worked very hard at building up the business from nothing. Probably one of the best homemade pub grub pubs in the area while they were running it. Certainly not that anymore!! Had a roast there a few weeks after they left...at least I think it was a roast!!! Won't be eating there again.....Pub is now full of "Halstead villagers". Think of "The Slaughtered Lamb" in the film "American Werewolf in London"!!!! The kind of people that Mark couldn't stand!!!!
