The Royal Inn on the Park, Victoria Park

The kitchen has some new chefs, this place has great food, nice choice of beer and easily the best beer garden around. Don't sit out front though, you can smell the drains!

The Lauriston, South Hackney

This pub is now called the Lauriston, it still has pizza, but has made itself a little more trendy and expensive. Nice place to hang out with a free jukebox, but lots of children around.

The Camel, Bethnal Green

Quite clearly the best wallpaper in any pub ever.
This pub has great pies - with mash in the winter and salad in the summer, games to play and as I mentioned before great decor.
It is close to Bethnal Green tube and the busier Florist pub (owned by the same people). This place is perfect for chilling out with a bottle of wine, but certainly not for a party. The smoke free air is a relief, but beware the children.
