The Swan, Great Kimble

I had a very disappointing stay at the Swan last weekend. The room was filthy (carpets didn't look like they'd been cleaned for weeks, grimy shower and stained blankets).

The food and beer were passable, but a huge TV (turned up to full volume)blared from one corner of the bar all night (stuck on a music channel that pumped out the best 100 disco anthems and the same four or five adverts). When we asked the barperson if she'd turn it down a bit -- as the bar was almost empty -- she did, but then turned it up again after 5 mins.

Would not recommend that anyone stay here, and only pop in for a pint if you're desperate.
