The Lighthouse, Battersea

I have been to this pub maybe a dozen times, and I can't hold my tongue any longer. The decor's fine, the drinks are fine, the food is OK when it eventually arrives and the garden is jolly nice but THE SERVICE IS ABSOLUTELY ATROCIOUS. I have never been there and NOT been incredibly frustrated by how slow, inefficient, and thin on the ground the bar staff are. And the food takes ages to arrive.

Lads - I'm not an impatient man, but seriously - prepare the slices of lemon before people turn up. Try to remember what people order. Get someone else behind the bar, and basically WORK A BIT QUICKER!
