The Keep, Guildford

In response to Beersupper`s last comment the last time he set foot in this place by the sound of it must have been when the place was indeed the Two Brewers around 10-13 years ago.

He would also notice (if he had actually gone into the bar) that the strictly over 21`s policy keeps the students down Bridge Street, Pews and Fahrenheit.

I have found the place to be very traditional for a Guildford based pub with a very welcoming atmosphere. Along with the Shere Drop and Ranmore ales from Surrey Hills Brewery and at the moment a guest Ascot Ales `Posh Pooch' they seem to possibly be the only bar in town that bothered this Christmas with home made mulled wine and Winter Pimms to boot, the food is very good too and at a very reasonable price.

The days of Spit and sawdust pubs are long gone, if you want that sort of thing go up the East End.
