The St Johns Tavern, Archway

Heard alot of good things about this pub. Unfortunately it wasn't just the atmosphere that lacked warmth. Service was lukewarm, verging on reluctant, as was the food. Our decision not to pay the 'discretionary' 12% service charge was the subject of much debate amongst the staff without any concern for our experience or an apology. At these prices, if food is what you're after, spend your money somewhere else.
