The Bald Faced Stag, East Finchley

THANK.GOD! A decent Gastro pub has finally arrived in East Finchely. Knocks spots off The White Lion down the road in terms of food, service, ambience and decor. It is now firmly my local with not only a good selection of wines (beer/ale for my fella) but a fantastic menu which is well priced. For years this beautiful building has been wasted as a 'rough' pub full of pools table, sky tv and cheap beer which dont mix well to say the least. The staff and especially the manager are more than welcoming and so polite, but be warned, book a resturant table in advance especially at the weekend, gets very busy which is not suprising.
