The Loggerheads, Shrewsbury

Visited here on Bank Holiday Monday afternoon. We were curtly told by the barmaid that the lounge was off limits to customers (she and her partner had commandeered it so they could eat their KFC's in peace). The only real ale on offer was Bass & nothing else. When I asked for a pint of Bass the aforementioned barmaid somewhat reluctantly put down her fried chicken before serving us. She did lick her greasy fingers clean before pulling the pint though. Why waste time washing hands? We won't be returning for a while.
