Having recently moved to the area we thought we would try the 'locals' what a disappointment the Crown turned out to be. Wonderful building on the outside, run down and seats that looked as though they had not been cleaned since Cromwell's men had visited. We will not be going back there, such a shame.

The Golden Heart, Nettleton Bottom
Booked a table for 4 on a Sunday lunch time and arrived to be told "Oh yes we have your name here", handed a small board with it on and told to "go and find a table" Am I missing something about the term 'booked a table'? Food was average canteen style and service OK. Could not really understand the Pub of the Year prize. Must have been a bad year!
