The Olde Tavern, Kington

This pub was recommended to me, found it to be quaint and old fashioned, like stepping back in time. Beer was good, unfortunately food wasn't available. Will come back here!

The Royal Oak Inn, Kington

Called here only to find it was shut, however went back later in the evening, did find the pub nice and warm. Had a pint of lager, was going to order something to eat but didn't feel very comfortable. Might try it again later in the year when I come back to Kington when the new landlord has had chance to settle in

The Swan Inn, Kington

Drank a few pints of London Pride, group of 4 of us. Other real ales were Priory Ale, Tetleys & Harvest Pale, sampled all of them. Excellent pint!
Asked for a bar snack, staff more than happy to oblige even though kitchen staff had just finished shift.
Very friendly service and nothing was too much trouble

Well worth a visit!
