The Chequers, Brize Norton
Food is O.K. (although maybe a little expensive for what you get) but they do not know what "customer services"mean.
Last time I visted there was a busy Sunday afternoon and my family and I were made to wait for 20mins for a table, for well over half an hour for the food to turn up then after 15mins of being served they asked us to leave "A.S.A.P. " as the table was booked for other customers!!
There's also a big fluffy dog walking and barking around inside the restaurant. I asked the owner if dogs were allowed inside then the owner dared to say:
"No. Only MY dog. I own the place. It's MY pub I do what I like."
Unbelievable.
Will never go back ther again!!
