The Swan, South Acton

We tried to go here for Mothers' Day. It can get busy so we went before their advertised kitchen opening hours. Two bored staff watched us heave tables around trying to make a table large enough for 7. They were then reluctant to give us menus to look at because it was 15 mins before the kitchen 'opened' - were they going to have some very last minute changes? The apathy persuaded us to go to The Duke of Sussex instead. I've had some great meals at the Swan, but I'd say the latter beats them now on so many fronts.
