Really groovy pub, my favourite in Bristol. Mainly for soundtrack which is a jazz fan's dream but position and atmosphere is also good.

Walkabout, Croydon

Sorry to hear that fugly-t, putting up with the British is hard I know. I did meet an Aussie girl in a Walkabout once, but I think maybe she worked behind the bar.. do'h! These places are better during the day when all is quiet and they have sport on etc., at night its just too rowdy.

Slug and Lettuce, Poole

Certainly lost a bit in the way of atmosphere when transferring to S&L but, although now predominantly a food pub, it has given the staff more purpose and the surroundings a much worthier feel now it has been scrubbed up. Still maintains a polite weekend evening audience and now attracts a much better clientele, still with amusements and larger range of beers now. A good move all in all.
