The Anglesea Arms, Hammersmith

Great beer, pub, wine and restaurant all rolled into one. Superb food and service much improved since a change in ownership. Don't agree with the comments about snotty locals (being one myself) - it's bohemian and laid back, but the food and drink is great. The no booking policy iritates many, but that's the way it is - and there's never a table empty. Go at lunchtime for a quiet meal, especially in the summer.
