Foresters, Hampton Wick

Been out of town for a while and just back. Bit of a surprise ( actually very surprised) to see some extremely negative (and personal) comments about this place.
Can only assume the authors had a very rare bad visit there. Took several new clients there only last week for a drink and a bite and no one had anything bad to say (and these are quite discerning people, with one being very direct in her comments).
As to the author who felt arrogant To**er was appropriate, seems simple..Go elsewhere, if I'm not happy with somewhere I do. Don't forget to take the chip on your shoulder with you though.

Foresters, Hampton Wick

The new boss Tom, really is workinhg hard to get this place to be the pub of choice in the area.
Turning this from an 'old boozer' into a place for all tastes. Great music, live and background C.D., with an atmosphere to match.
Is experimenting with menu's it seems and more bistro and less gastro i think is the way to go.
Fab choice of wines. What a turnaround in such a short time. Popped in for a 'sharpener'with friends, stayed 3 hours.
