The Bell, Shenington

An eclectic mix of farm labourers, doctors, country bumpkin, lawyers, singing brothers, landed gentry, pretty ladies and wet animals ensures there's always something to talk about in the bar - which is annexed to the pub's reasonable restaurant. Loads to drink - as long as it's Hooky - served by a genuine fan of Status Quo - judging by the mullet. Eats...? the pork Scratchings are a must. Whisky Macs are also a favourite with the crowd - especially pre-sunday lunch, where the Bell is a weekly institution. Pull up a bar stool and talk about anything with Teddy - local gentleman of repute and all round good egg.
