The Rose of York, Richmond

me and my partner love this pub! or should that be we love the family that used to run it!!!!!! it was run very well .... good food , good ale and very friendly. now the family have been turfed out by the company. the company has a little gold mine and now its ready for the slaughter, no tv and music, the company think its best to take them out, even though they say the takings are up by 6% (lies) its a pub for the regulars and they are very friendly. but now the regulars are leaving in droves, to be honest the gentleman that runs the show has no idea and he thinks he is the bee's knees. my advice? drink at home,or try the local train station for the down and outs. as far as the family goes we all love them and find it really upsetting that the company has abused them in such a disgusting manner. oh im the geordie that used to frequent this establishment but not as often now!
