The Three Bishops, Brighstone

returned from the Isle yesterday and wanted to say thankyou to the staff of the Three Bishops,we went in a few times, the food was great, good quality and plenty of it (hmm especially the sea food), the welcome was fantastic and the staff took the time to chat and take an interest in us as visitors, Its really good that you allow dogs IN the pub, this is unusual these days and certainly welcome on a rainy day like Saturday of last week.

I would recommend it, and the fact you put a 'warts and all' visitors book on the bar is very brave, but no complaints from us..

thanks again and hope to return in future.

P.S i didnt try the countryman, but will do next time, just in case anyone thinks im bias.

p.p.s also I didnt see any Police IN any pub car parks, but was surprised at the high profile of the police have in the village generally, anyone know the reason? just an observation..

p.p.p.s Its a real Shame the Isle doesnt have a larger thriving ale producing community, most of the ales are 'imported' I think the Isle could do itself justice with loads of its own micro breweries..
