To Suefab , I think Mike's response was fantastic. You seem to have Champagne tastes with beer money. I don't believe even the local fine dinning establishments let alone a local pub would accomodate your unreasonable demands.
I,like Mike came out of the business because of selfish unreasonable people like you. Try and ask Gordon Ramsey to change his menu to suit you. Why don't such fussy eaters as yourself stay at home and feed yourselves. Mike has an exstensive menu all freshly cooked most would say something for everyone clearly not you.
Just stay at home and upset yourself and leave the rest of us to enjoy a local pub. It's not always perfect but what is? It's more than acceptable and value for money.
