The Wheatsheaf, Tooting Bec

Be a bit adventurous and don't judge a book by its cover, this place is unique. Sure, the Wheatsheaf is not some fancy overpriced wine bar and yes it does seem to attract a variety of rough looking punters from time to time. Nobody's perfect!

However, you can have a brilliant craic in this place. When there's entertainment on this could be a 24 hour venue - I've never been told it's time to leave! And I assure you that you have not lived until you've been to a Black Elvis gig. He's on about every 5 weeks and is fantastic - yes a black Elvis impersonator! Old men in trilbies dance with young girls on the lash, big mommas rock with Springfields outpatients, Limerick men down the Guinness on the sidelines. Forget your preconceptions and enjoy the best night out in the area! There are even now tables on the pavement outside - the cafe society reaches the Bec at last.
