The Royal Oak, Poynings

A very disappointing visit. Went for lunch and chose the seafood platter. There was no smoked salmon left which was replaced by a dinky bowl of prawns and two extremely small slices of bread each . The fish on the platter was pleasant enough to eat but it was hardly a platter for two. They did give us extra bread when asked but only two very small slices (they did not seem too pleased at the request). consequently we left as hungry as we came. The bar meals are very overpriced and frankly I would not visit this pub again. I have given it 3 because it Is a very attractive place. Value for money would give it 0.
