It was unfortunate that when we arrived the barlady seemed more interested in talking to her friend than serving the couple of people waiting at the bar.The glass my wifes' wine was poured into was dirty with what looked like lipstick smears around the rim, and my pint of Brakespears was not worth the extortionate amount asked for. Left feeling ripped off and thoroughly dissapointed. The brewery owned pub should capitalise more in way of service and not rely on location to draw in any tourists.

The Catherine Wheel, Henley-On-Thames

I visited with my wife whilst holidaying in the area and found it to be very pleasant indeed. The range of local ales was good and the pint I had was wll worth us satying for another. The service was very friendly, and though it was reasonably busy, we were served quickly. The prices are very reasonable, what you expect from a Wetherspoons pub, and the food being served certainly smelled tempting! Shame we did not have time to stay for dinner! Will next time..

The Black Jug, Horsham

I think the comment posted by the person below is absolutely spot on. The BJ is not at all impressive in its' service, quality of products, pricing strategy, food quality. It does have a huge range of whiskies on sale, but again, ridiculously overpriced. I've eaten and drunk in far better plaves than this in cities around the UK, received far better in all aspects mentioned above, and come home with change in my pocket.
