The Dover Lock, Abram

I also recently went to the Dover Lock after a walk along the canal with my dog, i found the staff very welcoming. I sat outside on the veranda with my dog and drank my well deserved pint. I intend to go back there with my wife and son to have a meal in what seems like a clean & friendly pub. I was looking at the menu whilst i was there and thought the prices very reasonable. The Guiness i had was second to none, one of the best i had drank in a long time.
As for the policy on dogs i was discussing this with a fellow dog walker who was sat across from me. We both agreed we would not expect a pub which serves food to allow dogs in with the exception of guide dogs, neither of us could think of a pub which does allow dogs, with a large seating area outside i cannot see the problem.
