I have to disagree with dr pangloss.Before the new owner took over nov 08.No d.j,insepid green in colour,no heating ,no smiling staff.The pub now has d.j,heating, colour,smiling staff,dancing and laughter.Its busy friday and saturday and we never get any negative comments.Saying all that,i have just checked your other comments about other pubs and its all negative.Dont worry i have the solution move to Bristol.

In reply to Taunton56,how long is it since you been in The Moat.Since the change ownership nov 2008 there has only ever been live dj both friday and saturday.Fact.Before nov 2008 there has not been a dj for over a year.How do i know this im one of the door men and have been there 2 years.Now what you will notice is staff that smile, better priced drinks,heating that is switched on.Oh and a atmosphere and ambience which has not been seen for eighteen months.
