went in the pub for the first time in a while although the beer is still good
i could not believe the prices charged for it a good 30-40p a pint higher than
the local pubs in the area i think it will be a while before i go there again

cxcellent beer if its cloudy the landlord dont serve it nice bar and lounge and patio area in the summer beamed rooms thank goodness the landlords beer keeping is better than his fishing

Station Hotel, Oakengates

best beer pub in oakengates better than the vinegar factory across the road real characters and banter in the bar in front of a roaring fire in winter good selection of real ales of varying abvs pictish flies out of the pumps if you need any advice ask one of the pictish twinning commitee in the fighting cocks you can take your own food but on a wed night try one of phils curries and pint great value at �4.50 if you like the music across the road come and get your beer here and take it with you but dont get caught lol
