Bar staff are great, however bouncers are over zealous and will throw you out over nothing. Avoid if you want a good night.

The Marquis of Granby, Cambridge Circus

Tried to go in here a couple of weeks ago with some friends.

There were six of us, mostly over 40 and they refused to serve us - and this is the nest bit - because there were SIX of us! 5 would have been OK - could understand it if group was younger or in football shirts. What a joke - no wonder the pub was empty. Apparently this is their policy,

Went to the pub other side of the road instead, who couldn't believe that they turned us away.

Joke of a pub - avoid........

The Bear and Staff, Leicester Square

Visited on a Saturday afternoon - not too busy for its location, sat outside.

Reasonable beer prices for the location, 6 beers and change from �20 - unusual for the West End!!
