great potential for a good pub, sadly this place isnt it! lacklustre atmosphere not helped by the rather uptight landlord.
Came here to meet an old friend, unplanned, and i was treated to unfriendly stares and made to feel rather uncomfortable, not what i expect when i pay over the odds for average beer. Definatly a "clikky" place where if your not known, then your definately not welcome, tried the "Swan" round the corner, not half as busy but a great welcome from a real friendly barmaid, who didnt make it seem like she was doing me a favour serving me..................The White Lion doesnt roar so much as snarl !!!!!!

The Courtyard Sports Bar, Southam

Shame that after a brief period of well run stability, the place has gone back down the path of " we dont care as long as you spend " attitude, perhaps the situation might change, but i doubt it. Long live the SNORTYARD and all who sniff in her!!!!!!!
