The Dukes Head, Hamstreet

We didn't even get to try the pub! HIKERS STEAR CLEAR!!!
We had planned to get to the Dukes Head for lunch at 12:30 as we were walking the last stetch of the Greensand Way and would finish at the Dukes Head for lunch. We parked in the totally empty carpark at 9:30 am and waited for our taxi to take us to the start of our walk. The pub was still all locked up!! Therefore no-one to ask.
As we were leaving a very irate and rude man came out of the Dukes Head and told us we couldn't park there. We explained that we were coming to lunch but he rudely told us we had to park elsewhere! And was unpleasantly unhelpful about other suggested parking.
So when we finished the last place on earth we would visit was HIS PUB!!
It is the only time since we have been in Britain and doing these trails that any pub has not wanted us to park in their parking lot. We obviously always give the pub our custom. SO BE WARNED, NOT A NICE PLACE!!!!
