The Woodman, Birmingham

Now reopen after 2 years of closure. This Grade 2 listed building has had a complete refurbishment and restoration. Regular beers are Castle Rock Harvest Pale and Black Gold along with 6 guest beers and 2 traditional ciders. Food is now served every day from 11am until 8pm.

Duke of York, Lichfield

The Duke of York re-opened on 4th December after a superb restoration and refurbishment. Until Joules beers come on line about March the pub is selling 4 ever changing guest beers and attracting a very good quality of clientelle. Hosts Wendy and Paul Weston are doing an excellent job and the pub has been busy since day one.

The Jewellers Arms, Hockley

The pub has been taken over recently by a very enthusiastic lady who has worked there for many years. She has introduced real ale, which was sadly lacking and early reports are that it is selling well. Initially the beers were only Greene King IPA and Old Speckled Hen which were well kept but we hope to see some more interesting beers in the very near future.
