The Old Parrs Head, Kensington
Tried this pub on the offchance before attending Buddy Guy's gig at Shepherds Bush. Pleasantly surprised by the orientally themed courtyard garden and the availability of Doom Bar. Pub was so inviting that we missed the support act and only just caught the start of Guy's set.

The Sidmouth Arms, Upottery
Recently spent a week's holiday near Upottery and found this pub to be so welcoming and friendly that every evening was spent sitting out front over several pints of superb Otter Ale. The location was so tranquil that the occasion of a passing vehicle was worthy of remark.
