The Anglers, Teddington

I think some of the visitors to this pub have a personal chip on their shoulders. Have they been barred for bad behaviour?
The Anglers situated on the opposite side of the Thames to Teddington lock is a good spot for a drink or a meal. THe pub can be approached by foot or bike along a footpath from both Kingston and Richmond or by boat along the Thames. The pub even has its own landing stage!
The pub has an idillic setting by the bridge and gives a good view of both the bridge and Teddington weir. Sitting in the garden on a lovely day can rarely be better.
The sun lounge bar and comfortable seating is what might be called 'the snug' this sets the pub apart from the others. It has not been spoilt be current trends for mock leather and polish. The pub has a comfortable warm feel and time can be spent chatting at ease in a variety of settings.
The Manager and staff are friendly and efficient but there is a wait of up to 30 minutes for food due to the exceptional popularity of this excellent establishment. The food is varied and original.
