The White Horse, Hampstead Heath

I was pleased when the White horse finally re-opened, as i used to go there often after work (at the royal free). And although I was relieved to see the lovely art deco windows and beautiful ceiling hadn't been touched, i feel the atmosphere is not what it was. There used to be a cosy, scruffy elegance to the place, now it is a bit souless. Still the staff were friendly enough and although the drinks are a bit expensive the food is reasonably priced, but nothing special.
