The Captains Cabin, Piccadilly
On the evening I was there, there was a promotion on one of the brewers' beer glasses - we were given a card and the clear instructions were to buy 4 pints and win a glass - this we achieved quickly. We then obtained a second card and started completing it, only to be told that the "small print" stated that it was possible to win only one glass per party per evening. And the miserable bar-maid is still there - she must be part of the furniture. You have to be desperate to use this place.
