Chandos Arms, Oakley
This is my local and I did not know if I should give it a good rating and tell all you lot about it as I dont want it getting too full :-)
It is a great country pub a nice balance between a drinking pub and a eating pub. Great cask ales like IPA, Broadside all well kept. A nice selection of food and a great sunday lunch.
Steve the co-owner and chief has a good selection of staple pub food all home made and a daily selection of specials. I had a really nice venison caserole just the other day.
They dont do food Mondays and Tuesday currently thou and you usually need to book.
