I've been to worse in Walthamstow but this could do with some friendly staff. They're not rude but very aloof. is it a pub policy to keep chat to a minimum?

The Jolly Anglers, Wood Green
Bloody hell. This was my local for around ten years when I lived in Wood Green. Reading some of these comments makes me feel quite sad. It was a very friendly pub in the 90's with some great regulars and some very good managers. True the toilets were never that good but the rest of the pub, especially the service, was great.
