The Gate Hangs High, Hook Norton

Shocking customer service. Would advise others to stay away from this pub. After driving for nearly 3 hours on a Friday night to stay in the pub for two nights, we arrived to be told that they had a booking for one night only. Straight away the blame was put on ourselves and no attempt at an apology made. The manager, who was dealing with us, showed a total lack of interest and people skills. Obviously they could make more money out of larger parties who had come for the Gran Prix at Silverstone and so we believe bumped our booking!
