The Whistle and Flute, Putney

I remeber when this was Shannon's -it was a stinking hole that served microwave breakfasts and out of date beer. The only customers were dirty old drop outs that were not welcome anywhere else.It's alright now, probably too many screens and old men hogging the place in the afternoon (send them all round to the Brick !).The guvnor is a cheery chap who knows his pub.Would like to see it giving the Coat and Badge a run for it's money again, they always have been up their own backsides that lot !!
