White Horse Inn, Moretonhampstead

Tourist from Sweden posting my humble review - we visited not long ago, two adults and two kids. Mind you - it is not always easy to find a restaurant, that all family members will enjoy. My kids have never been to happy eating anything from the sea, but this place got them starting, I guess we owe a special thanks to the chef.
For starters we had mussels in an incredible cider sauce, both kids loved it. My wife had the lamb as the main dish, and I had pasta in truffle sauce - delicious as hell. Friendly staff, great place to take the kids... White Horse is simply the best place for eating in the area. Over the years we have been many places that area (we have relatives in Devon) but the white horse I will enjoy returning to. Keep the mussels on the menu...
