The Old Duke Of Cambridge, Mile End
This is a great local family boozer. It is right opposite a kid's play area so that's good for grabbing the kids' attention while the grown-ups test the water.
They offer a fantastic pint of Spitfire at �2.80 - better than the Bow Bell's London Pride and cheaper. Good luck finding another Real Ale nearby.
The Landlady a lovely lady called Millie (her name's painted in big letters above the door, so I don't think I'm speaking out of church here).
Sandwiches are even laid on for the Sunday quiet pint brigade. What more could you want? Answer me!
