The Victoria, York

Had problems with their ales being off in the past, stomach aches, etc etc, went Again tonight 7th September 2014, tried a ale called fall over, the bar lady only got one pint out of it before it ran out, so I had a taster of one of the other ales, tasted of strong vinegar and eggy, clearly off, passed it to my dad who has been a firm ale drinker / critic for over 40 years, he tried a bit and instantly said "NOPE!" so I just said "I'll just have a blonde " an ale of the same make, a blonde pale ale, took it outside, ( I normally find pale ales ok so I didn't question it) took 1 sip, "f***s sake" is all I said, took it back, said it was the same, strong vinegar taste and eggy smell. Asked to taste another one of that makes ales, also vinegar, I just sighed and was deliberating whether to get a refund or have something that isn't kept in the same way, the bar lady said "well you can't make your mind up now I'll just serve this customer and wait for you to make your mind up " took a strongbow instead. Very disappointing, obviously don't tend to their drinks / drinks pipes very well. At least 2 pints worth sit in the pipes, probably been sat for a while and gone off. Won't be returning there again. Next pubs ales were fine. So not my taste buds
