The Nags Head, Islington

Went there on Saturday evening and was nearly empty. Real ale was terrible as they obviously do not clean the lines. Dark and dingy. There are plenty of better pubs in the area

The Pakenham Arms, Clerkenwell

This is quite a nice pub despite lots of unhappy posties drowning their sorrow. Much better than the Union bar down the road with a good selection of ales, not just GK IPA & Pride.

The Union Tavern, Clerkenwell

This is an awful pub. Went there last night. Poor choice of beer, rubbish service and pretentious menu. Is trying to be some Islington gastro pub but is not that or a decent London pub either.
